Sisu Integration is At-Bat

Our Sierra Interactive integration has been very exciting to work on, but as mentioned in our Realty Hook launch post, we have big plans to expand our roadmap. Our development philosophy remains - in-depth connectivity for the tools we support and 2-way syncing of data so you always know you're looking at the most up-to-date information, in whatever tool you're currently using.

The next real estate tool we're adding integration for is Sisu, a feature-packed transaction manager for teams (I'm sure it can work for individuals too, but it's very team oriented).

Our real estate team has been using Sisu for over a year now and love it. It helps streamline our workflow, task lists can be launched manually or triggered on certain dates or outcomes and it's a breeze to see an overall picture of your whole office's transaction statuses.

However, our team is based on Google Workspaces and we're very calendar and task-list oriented with those Google tools. The piece of the puzzle we've been missing is that link between Sisu and Google Workspace, and we're close to launching a solution.

Introducing Sisu Tasks Syncing with Google Tasklists

The next major release of Realty Hook, due out in late July or early August 2024, will include Sisu tasks integration. Just like our Sierra Interactive integration with Google, the setup is a breeze - flip a switch to enable task syncing, configure the users on your Sisu team and setup their link to Google. Once enabled, your Sisu tasks will sync to your Google Tasklist. Each task will have the name, due date, status and information about the transaction and contact info. Within Google, when you mark the task as completed, whether on the desktop or in the mobile Google Tasklist app, Sisu will be updated as well.

For our team and early testing, we've found it extremely helpful to have all of our to-do's in one place, at our computer and especially on the go. So far, we've found our team saving time and increasing productivity when:

  • Putting a sign or lockbox on a new lisitng - simply check the 'done' bubble in Google Task list and move on
  • When heading to a closing or meeting, have contact information and a link to the Sisu transaction at our fingertips

All of the above is do-able with the Sisu app - but Google is a trillion dollar company. Their apps are more fluid and you can manage all your tasks, not just ones from Sisu, in one place.

It's a productivity win and eases onboarding for new team members to an interface they are more familiar with.

What's Next

During testing, we've already heard some ideas for what teams would like to see next - specifically, Sisu transaction dates displayed on their Google Calendars. Once the initial implementation of Sisu & Google integration is out, we'll be hard at work on transaction dates and other features.
